5 or 6 years ago several 100+ year old trees were cut down on Elizabeth St. here in Ellicottville.
Before the trees could be ground into mulch, we loaded as many rounds or as we call them “wood cookies” we could
onto our trailer and brought them to the shop to dry.
Last week we started to work with some of the cookies and they showed some promise.
Stay tuned as we will start to post pictures when we start to get some results of our local salvage.
We will also be looking for ideas for pieces to be shown at this years Adirondack Museum Rustic Fair.
